At Naval Air Station, Cubi Point, I frequently admired the craftsmanship of the Philippine craftsmen, who could turn a piece of wood
into a work of art.
The 14" in diameter seals offered through The Grandparent Zone are made by today's Philippine artists using kiln dried Philippine
Mahogany
. Each seal is carved, joined and sanded by hand. The deep, rich finish is created when the artists hand paint all the details onto each seal. No decals are used. The final product is a beautiful wooden sculpture.
