This Child's Wooden Doll Cradle was the very first cradle we designed. It is our most classic design. It fits most medium dolls out there on the market. We have had more compliments on this design than any other design as being, just what mom's remember when they were little girls, or what they always dreamed of and wished they could have had back then.
The Child's Wooden Doll Cradle is finished with a Brown Hand Rubbed Oil finish. The color is a non-toxic stain-like impregnated finish. The Doll Cradle measures 10" x 25" inside dimensions.
When THE
PUZZLE-MAN
first started designing cradles, it was to satisfy his own daughter, "Candy Susie". One of her first dolls was called "Baby Beans (Blue) (1970)". It was the reason that he sized the small cradle (W-2500), just to fit that doll. His daughter was the first kid on the 'block', actually one of the very first in the country to receive the "Baby Beans" doll (before it was even in the stores). She had received another style Mattel doll from his wife and him, that ended up being defective and upon calling the manufacturer, they apologized and said they would send a replacement for it. They asked if they could substitute a new model that was due to come out in (3) months. THE
PUZZLE-MAN
agreed, and did he ever get rewarded from his daughter. She thanked him many times over as it became her very favorite. Of course she was only not quite a year old at the time. Oh, what great memories we parents can remember when we look back. How time flies.
